Born in a family kitchen in Sangli

THE2WINS wasn't started by a food company. It was started by Mrs. Khochare — and is run together with her husband, Captain Mahesh Khochare (Retd.) — as the family-facing side of a promise to the farmers of their home soil.

    Born in a family kitchen

    THE2WINS was started by Mrs. Khochare, in the family kitchen in Sangli, and is run by the couple together — she built the brand; her husband leads the farmer-facing work. It began the way the best food businesses do: with staples the family already trusted enough to eat every day.

  2. A name with two meanings

    Look at our badge: two figures, grown from turmeric roots. They honour the twins in the Khochare family — the personal half of the name. The other half is the philosophy: two wins on every order — pure, healthy food for the family that eats it, and a fair, dignified livelihood for the farmer who grows it.

    Twenty-five years in uniform

    Captain Mahesh Khochare served twenty-five years in the Indian Defence Forces. When he retired, he did not settle in a city — he came home to the black-soil belt where his family has always farmed, with one question: why do the farmers who feed everyone earn the least?

    Sugarcane out, turmeric in

    The Kolhapur–Sangli belt is sugarcane country, but its fertile, well-drained black soil is even better suited to turmeric and ginger — crops that pay the farmer more per acre. Instead of lecturing anyone, the Captain converted the family's own sugarcane fields into turmeric fields first. Proof, then persuasion.

    From their farm to your home

    Through VAshwini Enterprises (founded September 2023, mission: FAIR VALUE TO FARMERS FOR THEIR PRODUCE), the family buys directly from farmers at fair prices and collects produce straight from the field — reaching as far as the Lakadong hills of Meghalaya. THE2WINS is how that harvest arrives in your kitchen: nothing added, nothing hidden.

Most supply chains make someone lose — usually the farmer, sometimes the customer. Ours is built so both sides win on every single order, and we're specific about what each win means:

Win one · the farm

A fair, direct price at the farm gate, collection straight from the field after harvest, and a push toward higher-earning crops on the same land.

Win two · the kitchen

Staples that are exactly what they claim: unrefined, unpolished, uncoloured, unpreserved — from a farm you could visit.
