शेतापासून घरापर्यंत · farm to family
Two origins, both worth naming out loud
"Farm-sourced" means nothing unless you can say which farm. Everything we sell comes from two places — and both carry Geographical Indication tags that protect what makes them special.

Origin १ · Sangli, Maharashtra
The turmeric capital of India
Sangli's market yard handles more turmeric than anywhere else in the country, and Sangli turmeric has held a GI tag since 2018. The belt's black, well-drained soil grows our turmeric and ginger — much of it on the Khochare family's own fields, converted from sugarcane — and its cane feeds the open pans where our jaggery is slow-cooked.
- Sangli turmeric — GI-tagged since 2018
- Open-pan jaggery from partner cane farms
- Ginger from the same black-soil belt

Origin २ · Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya
Lakadong country
Around Lakadong village in Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills grows the world's most potent everyday turmeric: 7–12% curcumin, against 2–3% in ordinary haldi. It earned its own GI registration (No. 741) in 2024. We procure it directly from hill farmers — the same direct, fair-price relationship we keep in Sangli, a thousand kilometres east.
- Lakadong turmeric — GI Reg. No. 741 (2024)
- 7–12% curcumin, verified by origin
- Grown by hill farmers, largely without synthetic inputs

आमची पद्धत · how we work
The rules we don't bend
The same three practices apply to every product, in both origins.
Direct from the farm gate
We buy from our own fields and from partner farmers at agreed, fair prices — and collect the produce ourselves straight after harvest, so nothing is lost to middlemen or mandis.
Traditional preparation
Jaggery is slow-cooked in open pans without washing soda or bleaching agents. Turmeric is boiled, sun-dried and ground whole. Ginger is peeled and sun-dried. No step uses chemicals.
Nothing added, ever
No preservatives, no anti-caking agents, no polishing, no added colour. If a jar needs an ingredient list longer than one word, we don't sell it.
